About

Built by a network engineer, for network engineers

SubnetSlinger is made by AISMITH PDX LLC, a small, founder-run shop in Oregon, USA. The person who builds it is a working network engineer — and the person who answers your email.

It started with a gap. Teams used to have a desktop toolset that lived on your own machine, always there when you needed it. The industry moved to server-based tools: powerful and centralized — but if the server wasn't reachable, or the admin who ran it was busy, you didn't get the tool when you needed it. Provisioning new gear, troubleshooting in the field and building out a lab are exactly the moments that happens.

SubnetSlinger bridges that gap: a client-side toolkit you carry, with the classic tools, the server hosts a lab needs, and an optional AI Deputy — on your machine, sending us nothing about your network. You buy it once.

How we work

  • We only describe what ships. Features are announced when they're built and tested, not before.
  • Every release is reviewed and lab-checked before it goes out — see the changelog.
  • Linux and macOS downloads are signed with an offline key you can verify yourself.
  • Support is email, from the engineer who builds it — weekdays, Pacific Time, usually within one business day.
