Your account, your call
Delete your account
A SubnetSlinger account exists only for licensing and sign-in. The toolkit itself runs on your machine — deleting your account doesn't touch anything on your computer. This removes your account on our side, for good.
What gets deleted
- Your account record and the email tied to it.
- Your license association (the record linking your purchase to this account).
- Any sign-in sessions for this account.
- Website contact or feedback messages sent from the same email.
What we keep: a purchase record we must hold for tax and accounting — the Stripe checkout ID, amount, currency, date and billing country, with no email, name or address — for 10 years, then it's deleted.
Our database backups roll off on their own schedule, so a deleted record can sit in an encrypted backup for a short time before it ages out. We never restore it into the live system.
Stripe keeps its own payment records (card, email, billing details, receipt) under Stripe's privacy policy. Deleting your SubnetSlinger account doesn't delete them; you can ask Stripe directly.
What stays on your machine
Everything the app stores locally — your encrypted credential vault, incidents, inventory, and settings — lives only on your computer, never on our servers. To remove that, uninstall the app or clear its data folder. Deleting your account here has no effect on it.
How long it takes
We process deletion requests within 30 days and email you to confirm when it's done. A deleted account can't be recovered — if you have an active license and want to move it to a new account, sort that out first via Support.
