What it does: shows your machine's network at a glance — hostname, local IPs, gateway, DNS servers, and a live check of your own gateway. Two on-demand extras are click-to-run, so nothing leaves the machine on its own: reveal your public IP/ISP/city (via ipwho.is), and an internet speed test — download, upload, and latency via Cloudflare.

Safe to run: yes. Local facts and the gateway ping are automatic; the public-IP and speed-test calls only happen when you click.

Reading results: a green uplink with a low RTT means your path to the gateway is healthy; the speed test shows real throughput to the internet (down/up in Mbps, plus round-trip latency).
