Wi-Fi scan

What it does: lists nearby wireless networks with signal, channel, and security, using the operating system's own scanner (Windows netsh, Linux nmcli) — plus two analyses on top.

Channel congestion: after a scan it counts APs per band (2.4 vs 5 GHz), calls out the busiest channel, and recommends the clearest non-overlapping 2.4 GHz channel (1 / 6 / 11) to move your AP to.

Signal over time: 'Watch signal' locks onto the strongest network and charts its signal on a re-scan interval, so you can walk a space and find dead spots (it stops when you leave the screen).

Safe to run: yes, read-only — it just reads what the radio already hears.

Reading results: each row is one BSSID (radio). Use the congestion panel to pick a clear channel and the spectrum/watch to spot overlap, weak signal, or a rogue/duplicate SSID. Needs a Wi-Fi radio and the OS tool present; on a wired-only box it returns nothing. (macOS uses the separate native build.)
