Path map

What it does: the same per-hop data Path ping already collects (address, loss %, average latency), drawn as a left-to-right hop chain from you to the destination instead of a text list — the real hops end-to-end, at a glance. Each hop also carries a best-effort reverse-DNS name, shown as its own line under the address so a hop with no PTR record is visually obvious rather than just quietly blank.

Setup: works over IPv4, IPv6, or Auto, same family picker as Ping/Trace/Path ping. IPv6 addresses are longer, so hop spacing widens automatically to keep labels from overlapping.

Safe to run: yes — it's Path ping under the hood, nothing new to authorize.

Reading results: hops are colored by loss (green/amber/red). A hop with high loss but healthy hops around it is often just that router de-prioritizing ICMP, not a real problem — the same caveat as Path ping/Traceroute.
