Use cases

Is it bandwidth, or local Wi-Fi?

"The internet is slow" is often a local or wireless problem wearing a bandwidth costume. Separate the two:

1. Test local first. Ping/Path ping your gateway. Loss or high latency at hop 1 (especially over Wi-Fi) points to local wireless, not the circuit.

2. Test the uplink/internet. Path ping a public destination. If hops are clean until the ISP edge and degrade there, it's the circuit/provider — not your LAN.

3. Watch over time. Use Monitor on the gateway and a public host together; if only the wireless client degrades while the wired path stays clean, it's local RF/Wi-Fi.

This is how you prove to the team (and the user) where the problem actually is, instead of blaming "bandwidth."
