SNMP OIDs (poll)

What it does: poll device OIDs — the system group (sysDescr/sysName/sysUpTime) and the ifTable (ifOperStatus, ifInErrors, ifInOctets…).

Use it for: link up/down status, interface error/drop counters, utilization, and basic device health — the classic 'is the link erroring or flapping' check.

Notes: SNMP v2c (community) or v3 (auth/priv). SubnetSlinger's SNMP tool reads the system info, measures interface bandwidth, and walks any OID subtree (SNMP ▸ Walk).

These are the Windows and Linux 1.3 guides, the same help that ships inside those apps. The Mac app carries its own in-app help; where macOS differs, see Privacy and FAQ. All docs. Spot something unclear? Tell us.
